Some of you may have noticed the liquor license posted on the entry door.   We are excited to have on offer a few of our favorite beers, as of Monday.  A selection of quality ales awaits you!

The quaffing begins with a ceremonial "first bottle" opening at 6PM on Monday, September 26th.

New Dark Chocolate - Welcome Back, Miller-McCune

We found a new source for Miller-McCune and have brought it back to feed your mind!
Recent issues covered solar - large or small, a British study on how to get young teenage girls interested in science, and as you can see, this current Sept-Oct issue focusses on schools.

Miller-McCune is the brainchild of Sara Miller-McCune (she who founded Sage Press 45 years ago).  MM describes itself as "the most viable source of research-based news for solutions-driven individuals."  Utne Reader gave it their Utne Independent Press Award for best science/techn coverage for 2009, and comments on 2010 LA Times review.
