This is the Pacific Northwest, and a little end of the summer won't keep us off our boats! There is the garage to work in all winter, why I know a man who cut a hole in the end of his garage so he could fit his fixer upper boat in - now there is enthusiasm!
And don't forget the Wooden Boat Festival in Port Townsend! I'd be there with my father in law, but I'm going canoeing in another state. But let's see what came in this week.
Good Old Boat the magazine for the rest of us, lots of DIY!
Small Craft Advisor, all about small and trailerable sailboats
Wooden Boat, always something to drool over
and their current Wooden Boat Special on classic wooden motor boats...
And when (you may wondering) is the Wooden Boat Festival?
Friday through Sunday, September 6 - 8.
Good Old Boat is published in Minnesota
Wooden Boat is out of Port Hadlock Washington, and Small Craft Advisor is also local, from Port Townsend - both will have a booth at the festival.
Random card offering - canoe, herons, loons and wildlife

You've had Bulldog's fresh squeezed lemonade, or maybe just thought about it.
We have variants! You can get the tart Italian Soda version - with little or no sweetener! Refreshing like a splash of water from a mountain stream.
or try David's favorite... the Walfish!
